About
IEEE Communication Society and the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) would like to announce PIMRC 2007, which is the 18th in the series of PIMRC conferences. PIMRC 2007 will offer an international forum for presenting latest developments in personal, indoor and mobile radio communications, while at the same time maintaining and reinforcing the longstanding reputation and outstanding character of PIMRC conferences.

To this end, PIMRC 2007 will include a healthy balance of leading experts from industry, academia, as well as standardization and regulatory bodies. Prominent invited speakers will become the evangelists of the emerging realities of the future personalized, converged, context-aware communication technologies that offer services regardless of time and end users' location. The high quality IEEE endorsed technical programme, will also include presentations and demonstrations from the most important research initiatives in Europe (e.g., EU funded project from FP6, including early FP7 projects) and beyond. Apart from the numerous experts, PIMRC 2007 will open its gates to a significant number of younger researchers and professionals, who will gain insights into the most recent advances in the thematic fields of the symposium while at the same time having the opportunity to contribute to its success. PIMRC 2007 consists of three days of scientific presentations, which will be appropriately complemented by tutorials, panel sessions, keynote speeches, as well as exhibitions.

The conference organization will be carefully structured to facilitate attendance according to thematic preferences. Except for thematic considerations, the modular structure of the programme will also take into account the timing of the presentations with respect to the supporting activities.
